El Domingo, 15 de agosto, durante la Seman Cultural, la cantante famosa Betty Missiego visitó a Sella y dejó con su actuación una grande impresión.

La Calle Cirineo ya estaba animada en la espera de su llegada en Villa Pico.

Op zondag 15 augustus bezocht de Spaanse zangeres Betty Missiego Sella om in het kader van de Semana Cultural een optreden te verzorgen.

De Calle Cirineo was al in rep en roer omdat de Spaanse zangeres in Villa Pico kwam logeren.

Nuestra vecina Isabel llegó por la tarde para preparar un hermoso ramo de flores para el artista. Luego a la actuación en la Plaza Mayor fuimos Isabel, Vicenta, Harco y Benjamín.

Onze buurvrouw Isabel kwam ´s middags een boeket maken met bloemen uit de tuin en daarna gingen we met de buurvrouwen naar het optreden.

Our neighbor Isabel came in the afternoon to arrange a bouquet of flowers from the garden and then we went to see the performance on the Plaza Mayor.

La actuación fue maravillosa y variada. La cantante, que es Peruana de orígen y llegó en España hace 42 años, canta con mucha elegancia y profesionalidad.

Después del concierto fuimos a cenar en bar Casino con doña Betty Missiego, su esposo Fernando, hijo Claudio, Emilio, Kika y Natalia (la alcaldesa).

Het optreden was mooi en gevarieerd. Het professionalisme van de zangeres (die 42 jaar geleden uit Peru naar Spanje kwam) maakte dat de emotie van de liedjes duidelijk overkwam.

Achteraf hebben we met Betty Missiego, haar man Fernando, zoon Claudio, Emilio, Kika en Natalia (de burgemeester) tapas gegeten in bar Casino.

The performance was beautiful and impressive. The elegance and professionalism of the singer (who 42 years ago came from Peru to Spain) were obvious and the songs full of emotion.

After the performance, we had a tapas diner in Bar Casino with Betty Missiego , her husband Fernando, her son Claudio, Emilio, Kika and Natalia (the mayor).

Después de pasar la noche en la Torre de Villa Pico y tras un buen desayuno, las vecinas vinieron para una sesión de foto´s.

Siempre vamos a recordar esta visita, que hemos tenido un contacto muy abierto con la cantante y su esposo y hijo.

¡Que gente mas moja! Estamos orgullosos de su visita y la hemos disfrutado muchísimo.

Betty Missiego verbleef in de Torenkamer en de volgende ochtend, na een gezellig ontbijt, kwamen de buurvrouwen langs voor een fotosessie.

Wat ons bijblijft van dit bezoek is het open, warme en oprechte contact dat we hadden met de zangeres en familie. We hebben leuke gesprekken gehad en vonden het jammer afscheid te moeten nemen, dit had langer mogen duren.

We zijn trots op het bezoek en hebben ervan genoten.

Betty Missiego stayed in the Tower Room and the next morning, after a hearty breakfast, the neighbors came by for a photoshoot.

What we will remember of this visit is the open, warm and sincere contact we had with the singer and her family. We had nice talks and regretted to say goodbye, we would have liked it to last longer.

We are proud of the visit and enjoyed it.
